I just got an email from ix-Webhosting my previous webhost provider that responds server-request fastest within 5-15 secondes
This is one day after they cancelled my account, what a strange coincidence, somebody changing my login of my previous provider, just after I had to provide information for Greengeeks fraudulent site migration service! Until now, nobody else had my login exept me, hmmmm

Is publishing facts against Greengeeks Terms of Service?
Shortly after mail last mail to Greengeeks, I got called by them 3 times within two minutes. In order not to be able to call them back, they send your own phone-number as reply-adress, which made myself sure, that I got called from them! Unfortunately I was not able to answer that time, since I was in an important meeting, so they wrote me following email:

You can certainly post what you wish on your blogspot account. As per our site migration policy we migrate over your Main Domains website. Which is your xxxxxxx all other websites you would be required to migrate yourself. Full details on this was provided to you and is found in our knowledge base at:

As mentioned we migrated over the website and tested which works. Your xxxxx database was migrated and we asked what other databases you had that needed migrating for your xxxxxx website.
It seems to be however that you wish to cause problems instead of working with our support department, so I have requested our billing team issue a full refund on your account at which time we will terminate your hosting services with us. A full backup of what has been migrated is below and will be available for 48hrs:

First I want to make clear that first reason of my blog was to have record since mail transcript of chat did not work on my trials. I never intended to publish anything else but the truth, your terms of service states ... Customer agrees not to post false or inaccurate information to news groups in violation of the news groups rules and regulations ... and I read that very well.
As my friend sittings next to confirms on the links provided, the word Main Domain cannot be found on your linked webpage, neither on its subpage for shared hosting, however I would be able to migrate my other domains by myself if I have you ok, not to interfere with my created ticket.
As mentioned we migrated over the website and tested which works. Your xxxx database was migrated and we asked what other databases you had that needed migrating for your xxxxx website.
Exactly, my point was, that going from homepage to a subpage like http://xxxxx throws an 404, for some reason it looks like .htaccess files are not the same as on my previous host, which let also to loss of password protection of some (confidential) files.
It seems to be however that you wish to cause problems instead of working with our support department, so I have requested our billing team issue a full refund on your account at which time we will terminate your hosting services with us. After waiting at least 3 days now I got the following answer to my migration request today:

There is nothing you can do to expedite the migration, your previous provider only allows a few files to transfer via shell at a time, which caused this to be slower then normal. At this time all website files have been migrated along with a database that was easily available to locate. Please let us know if there are any other databases required for your website.

2.You made public protected information I had on my previous provider and did not even take care about security after I advised you about that issue.
3. by no means I got any helpful response within 48 hours as stated on your webpage.
4. You just closed the issue, without a solution to your promise
As you can easily see after the login on my previous provider I do have more files, domains and databases. Anyhow not to loose more time, I feel urged myself to start migration process. GreenGeeks cpanel login issue II
After I reported yesterday my client login-problems on Greengeek via chat, today again I get login failed messages, on their login site, that worked once in the morning as well as on the login URL provided yesterday in Chat. Trying to fire https://server2.websitehostserver.net/, just gives no answer by now ;-( An interesting fact is also, that I can see my user and password in cleartext as part of the Login-URL (*Well they called to give a good reason for that, it helps to give better customer support for people doing typos with username and password): Anyhow eager to get started with my new Hosting, I feel to use for 4th time their customer chat: Here comes the protocol:

I definitively was not stating, that your restrict logins to your web service, but trying to document my observation that for until now unknown reason, I am not able to login twice using the same URL using different Browsers, Computers, doing basically exactly the same I did thousand times before with other webhosters like Hostmonster, Godaddy, Ix-Webhosting ...
Maybe I should grab a little Video uploading it to Youtube to express myself better? Just let me know, how I can support to solve that issue.

At least I must say, that support works pretty fast, I got called by quality assurance almost within same hour, which helped to clear the issue. After I was able to make clear, that I for sure did no typo with my username and password, we figured out, that there seems to be a cpanel bug that one need to know, since it seems to require to close webbrowser completely. I was able to relogin, from another browser or after closing my webbrowser completely, so finally nothing to do with caching or port-blocking, if not with internal GreenGeeks logic. Anyhow, I apreciate a lot, that I got a true answer, making me feeling better and hope to start a better relationship than recently with ix-webhosting. Looks I will get around by myself and get a first point of my best practise page!

I cant find anything about mysql-databases in their instructions, so I will write my email and kindly ask, to transfer that also, before I am going to change or take the inconvenience to host my dns on their servers, as I am satisfied with Godaddy for that issue. I am also little bit excited, if it is really true, that I can leave my DNS in Godaddy, if I do not want a lifetime Domain on behalft of Greengeeks (as long as I am more convinced about their service).
